Sauna and Ice Swimming at Pyhä

Did you think it would be cold in Finland? Feel the spirit of the sauna, “löyly”, and get your cold shock in the lake. Changing from hot to cold and back can be at the same time a physical and mental – sometimes almost like a spiritual – experience.

We will start with a briefing on Finnish sauna culture, history, and rituals. Then, it's time to step into a traditional Finnish sauna. Whenever löyly feels too hot, you can take a dip in the lake to cool down.
