1 Hour Husky Safari & a Farm Visit

Pyhä Husky Farm is a privately owned farm in the wilderness. The one hour ride is approximately 7-10km in length.

Each sledge can fit two adults and  1-2 smaller children or one adult and one older child. Adult is always the musher and others sits in the sledge.

We will decide this on the spot how the families are devided.

There is of course a possibility to switch mushers at the halfway point if there is two adults in one sledge! In case neither of the persons wish to do the mushing, a separate musher can be organised for an additional fee. Do let us know of you wishes in advance via email.

Unfortunately, due to safety reasons, children under 4 years-old cannot take part in the safari. The youngest will be looked after by our guide during the safari – there is plenty of fun to do at the farm!

Transportation
20€ / person

Transportation to the farm is not included in the experience. If you wish to be add transportation, please add it during reservation. Your pickup time will be informed after making the booking.

Pickups from Pyhä start 30 minutes before the experience.
Pickups from Luosto start 45minutes before the experience.

Address to the Pyhä Husky Farm is: Molkankummuntie 225, 98100 Kemijärvi. When you wish to arrive on your own, make sure to arrive to the farm on time – if you arrive early, wait us at the Husky Farm parking lot for the starting time. Don't be late and please do not enter the farm without a guide.

Winter Clothing
10€ / Person

Winter clothing is not included in this experience. If you need warm clothes and shoes, make sure to add it separately during reservation process.

The warm winter clothing and shoes will be given before heading to the farm. When arriving with your own car, make sure to have proper winter clothes or organise them through us in advance – Clothing needs to be picked up from Kairankutsu Office in Pyhätunturi and pick up time organised separately via email at kairankutsu@gmail.com No winter clothing will be provided at the farm.
