Riisitunturi National Park is home to some of the most dramatic and awe-inspiring landscapes in Lapland. These are scenes you cannot find even in the finest postcards! We will travel as a team and the whole adventure is done in small groups only!
The Riisitunturi adventure is especially recommended for photographers and those with the heart of an explorer. We will climb high up the fells, to reach unforgettable views above the horizon. On the way you will experience frozen forests full of snow crowded trees and amazing views opening around us when we climb higher on our journey. On the way we will have multiple photography stops to capture the amazing Arctic nature around us.
During the day, we will serve you a light lunch which includes Lappish specialty sandwiches together with sausages grilled on the campfire. We will prepare our food in the middle of nature while enjoying a relaxing break among beautiful sceneries and breathing our lungs full of the cleanest and purest Arctic air.
Meeting points
If you are staying in city centre area, the meeting point is at the Beyond Arctic office: Valtakatu 21, 96200 Rovaniemi.
As a part of our sustainability program, we avoid unnecessary driving in the city centre, where everything is within a short walking distance. Please walk from your accommodation in Rovaniemi city centre area to the meeting point at our office. The meeting time is 15 minutes before the tour departure time.
Pick-up service with minivan is included in the tour price from listed locations outside the city centre area. Please arrive to the pickup point on time.
If you are staying in a private accommodation, please wait outside for the pickup.
Pick-ups are done 25-45 minutes before the tour departure time depending on your hotel.

We will charge a cancellation fee of 100% if booking is cancelled 1 days or less before event.
We will charge a cancellation fee of 50% if booking is cancelled 7 days or less before event.
We will charge a cancellation fee of 10% if booking is cancelled 180 days or less before event.
