eBike to Wilderness Skiing introduces two fun winter activities wrapped in a time-saving combo. Hop on an effortlessly running e-fatbike, let the electric pedaling assistant flatten the snowy uphills. Follow the knowledgeable guide to the perfect place to step down from the saddle and continue through the snow-blanketed forest on wilderness skis, the most genuine way of transport in the Arctic!
Please note that there's no need for previous experience to enjoy this beginner-proof dual-activity. Your guide will be more than happy to instruct the safe technique for the both genuine activities. You will not only encage something fun but you will also gain new cool skills & knowledge!
For those staying in neighbouring Luosto, we highly recommend the eBike & Wilderness Skiing tour in Pyhä, as it offers you the chance to explore a completely new Pyhä-Luosto area. The total duration of the tour from/to Luosto, including transportation, is approximately 4,5 hours.
Pick-up for this experience is available from the locations listed below for an additional fee. This option can be selected either from Extras or during the booking process, depending on the booking channel.

Note: Pick-up from Luosto starts 30 minutes before departure. Pick-up from Pyhä locations starts 15 minutes before departure. If there are many customers at different pickup points, it is important to arrive on time and wait patiently for your own ride.

What's excluded?
Transportation to the Meeting Point is not included unless the optional pick-up service has been selected for an additional fee. This option can be selected either from Extras or during the booking process, depending on the booking channel.
What do i need to bring?
Suitable personal clothing for winter weather including warm boots and gloves or mittens. Please also bring a balaclava or a simple woolen hat without bobble / pompom that will fit under cycling helmet.
For this activity, guests use their own winter boots. The Altai ski bindings are designed to work with almost all types of regular winter footwear, so no special ski boots are needed. Please note that fashionable Moon Boots are not suitable for this activity, as they are usually too bulky to fit safely into the bindings and provide limited ankle support.
Please consider bringing some snacks like nuts or chocolate (caution: keep chocolate in a pocket inside of your jacket, otherwise it will freeze). Complimentary hot berry beverages included.
Please note
The eBike to Wilderness Skiing tour lasts 3 hours. The tour’s tempo and length will be tailored based on the clients’ request and stamina.
Minimum height limit of 150 cm.
From Rovaniemi, the closest airport and Santa Claus’ headquarters, it takes two hours by car or by Skibus to reach us in Pyhä (Hotel Pyhätunturi).
For peace of mind, we recommend checking in advance that your travel insurance covers your chosen activity.
Kindly note that 10% of the price of your tour is non-refundable. The 10% will be used to cover fees connected to your booking such as credit card transactions and other administrative charges. Refunds will only be issued to the card used to purchase the tour.
Cancellation Policy
We will charge a cancellation fee of 100% if booking is cancelled 7 days or less before event.
We will charge a cancellation fee of 50% if booking is cancelled 14 days or less before event.
We will charge a cancellation fee of 10% if booking is cancelled 365 days or less before event.
